Plant Engineering

From the first feasibility study to the final as-built drawing — every discipline, one team, zero gaps.

Generate front-end niches

Most engineering firms hand you a set of drawings and step back. We stay in the room. At Alvand Technic, plant engineering means taking responsibility for the whole picture - process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and structural - all developed under one roof, in one unified 3D environment.

When a single team owns every discipline, there are no gaps to fall through and no coordination meetings to survive.

At the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) stage, we define the technical and economic parameters of your investment - process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment lists, and a CAPEX estimate accurate to ±15%. These aren't rough guesses; they are engineered figures that give your finance team something solid to stand on. When a project begins on firm technical ground, investment risk drops sharply from the very start.

As the project moves into Basic and Detail Engineering, our disciplines lock into a shared 3D plant model. Piping stress is analyzed using CAESAR II. Electrical loads are allocated before cable trays are routed. Civil foundations are sized to the actual dynamic loads of the equipment above them. The result is fabrication-ready, site-ready documentation with no contradictions between disciplines.

A project that reaches site without a single inter-discipline clash is not luck — it is the direct result of integrated engineering done correctly from day one.

Brownfield projects are where we are most in our element. Upgrading a running plant with limited downtime and no room for surprises is the kind of problem that exposes the limits of conventional engineering firms. We start every brownfield engagement with a sub-centimeter 3D laser scan of the existing facility, creating an accurate digital twin of the 'as-is' conditions. Every new component is digitally fit-tested against that scan before it leaves the workshop. Clashes are resolved on a screen in the engineering office, not with a grinder on a shutdown day.

We also build sustainability into the engineering process itself. Aligned with Vision 2028, every project receives a Green Review - an assessment of electrification potential, waste heat recovery opportunities, and process efficiency gains. These are not add-ons; they are engineered into the design from the beginning, which is the only way they deliver real value.
