From First Purchase Order to Performance Guarantee: Single-Point Accountability Across the Full Project Lifecycle
Engineering and fabrication capability only converts to plant performance through disciplined execution. Schedule slippage, procurement failures, and site coordination breakdowns are not unusual events in complex industrial projects — they are the default outcome when project management is treated as an administrative function rather than an engineering one.
At Alvand Technic, project management has a single point of accountability from the first purchase order to the final performance guarantee test. Every project is managed by a PMP-certified project manager using integrated scheduling tools that track engineering, procurement, and fabrication milestones in one live plan. Risks are identified and addressed before they reach the critical path — not after they have already caused a delay.
A project that finishes on schedule but misses its performance targets has not been successfully delivered. We do not close a project until the plant hits its guarantee numbers.
Global procurement is managed through a pre-qualified vendor network covering specialized components — motors, sensors, hydraulics, refractory materials, instrumentation. Vendor qualification, expediting, and in-shop inspection are handled by Alvand Technic's own procurement and QA teams. No equipment ships until it has been inspected at source.
On site, Alvand Technic provides mechanical and electrical supervision throughout installation. Subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and construction sequencing are managed directly. The engineering team that designed the plant remains available throughout installation to resolve field queries without delay.
Commissioning follows a structured cold-to-hot sequence. PLC logic and automation systems are tested against design intent before process fluids are introduced. Performance Guarantee testing is conducted with the client's production team present. We do not hand over a plant and leave — we stay through the PG test and address any shortfall before the project is closed.
Depending on project scope, PMO deliverables may include:
Project Controls: Integrated master schedule, risk register, progress reporting, change management log
Procurement Management: Vendor qualification, RFQ packages, technical bid evaluation, expediting reports, inspection records
Construction Management: Method statements, subcontractor coordination plan, site safety documentation, installation records
Commissioning: Cold commissioning protocol, hot commissioning procedure, PLC/SCADA test records, PG test report
Handover Package: As-built documentation, O&M manuals, spare parts list, training records, warranty documentation
